Dr. Perez joined our practice in 2025 after being recruited here from a large practice in Nashville, TN. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez Campus with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico – School of Optometry where he did part of part of his training at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Virginia and Bright Vision Center in Cary, North Carolina.
Dr. Perez then completed a one-year residency program in ocular disease at Aran Eye Associates with affiliation with Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Miami, Florida.
He specializes in Contact Lenses, Laser Vision Correction/LASIK, Cataract Surgery Consultation, and the Diagnosis and Treatment of Ocular Disease.
Dr. Perez De La Pena resides in Fort Worth where he enjoys spending time with his friends, exploring the area, being outdoors, and sports of all kinds.
